Samsung’s Galaxy S Light Luxury is a budget S8 for China

A lite version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been rumored for some time, and the new device has been officially released in China, as seen by SamMobile. Instead of being known simply as the Galaxy S8 Lite, Samsung has opted for a whiff of "Galaxy S Light Luxury". The new phone is a shortened version of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S8 device specifications, but still retains the same design, physical Bixby Button and uncomfortably positioned fingerprint scanner.

The 5.8-inch "infinity" display has an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9 and FHD + resolution, and inside there is a Snapdragon 660 chip (the S8 has a Snapdragon 835 chip), 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage . The front camera and rear cameras have 8 megapixels and 16 megapixels, respectively, and the phone has IP68 water and dust resistance, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, face recognition, a 3,000 mAh battery and an iris scanner. The S Light Luxury also runs on Android Oreo.
