Google Photos now has a Favorites feature

I know many people love Google Photos, but sometimes you realize that the service is missing some elementary things. For example, there has not been a Favorites feature so far. Google announced that, during the next week, it will implement that functionality. You can touch a star in the upper right corner of any photo in your library and it will automatically appear in Favorites.

A Favorites album is created as soon as you start starring images. And that's more or less! Uncool. If you do not see the option to highlight a photo, you still do not have favorites. The wait should not be longer than a few days, however.

Photos will soon also allow users to share photos with their hearts, making things more feel a little more social and similar to Instagram. In I / O earlier this month, Google announced other new photo features that include quick edits suggested by AI to enhance photos, pop color and the ability to color old images. The first two of these new capabilities have already been implemented for users.

As for the other easy-to-reach fruit that Google has not yet addressed, users have Quite a few suggestions for things that probably should already be there.
